Conditions for Returns and Exchanges
1. Order Changes or Cancellations:
- Before Shipment: If your order has not yet been dispatched, you can request a cancellation or make changes to your order by contacting our customer service team at info@bestbudsaudio.com. We will process your request promptly and ensure that any changes or cancellations are addressed before shipment.
2. Broken but Unused Products:
- Upon Receipt: If you receive a product that is broken but unused, you can return it for an appropriate replacement. Please contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving your order to initiate the return process. The product must be in its original packaging and condition.
3. Performance Guarantee:

Minimum 26dB Reduction: Our earplugs are designed to reduce noise by a minimum of 26dB, as verified by a certified audiology clinic. If you find that the earplugs do not deliver on this promise, you can return them for a refund. To qualify for a refund under this guarantee, you must:
- Have tested the earplugs at a verified audiology clinic.
- Provide documentation from the clinic indicating that the earplugs do not reduce noise by at least 26dB.
- Return the earplugs within 30 days of purchase.
4. Used Products:
- Hygiene Considerations: Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of used earplugs unless they fail to meet our performance guarantee. If you have worn the earplugs and believe they do not meet our promised standards, please follow the steps outlined under the Performance Guarantee section.
- We may accept returns on a case-by-case basis, please contact us.
Return and Exchange Process
1. Contact Customer Service:
- To initiate a return or exchange, please contact our customer service team at info@bestbudsaudio.com with your order number, reason for return or exchange, and any supporting documentation (e.g., audiology clinic report).
2. Return Authorization:
- Our customer service team will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions on how to return your product.
3. Shipping Returns:
- You are responsible for the cost of shipping returns to us. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your return reaches us safely.
4. Processing Returns and Exchanges:
- Once we receive your returned product, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the conditions outlined in this policy. For eligible returns, we will process your refund or exchange within 7-10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
Consumer Rights
This Returns and Exchanges Policy is in addition to your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the products repaired or replaced if the products fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
